About Us

Elmo Brahman Stud - No 1614 , was established in 1981 at Miriam Vale, Queensland, based on bloodlines from Cherokee and Tyagarah Studs. From humble beginnings, we slowly bred up our herd based on quiet, fertile functional females.

We have always run a commercial herd as well, using our own bulls to breed steers and females that fit into all markets from Live Export, Feeder cattle, Trade cattle to Jap ox. So we understand what the markets require.

In 1998 we relocated from Miriam Vale to Baralaba. We have been concentrating on breeding quality polled red brahmans since 1999 and have invested heavily in the industry over the years.

We are a family run operation with family based principles.

Visitors are always welcome, so call in and have a cuppa and a look around.
